Extra Virgin Skin's African Black Soap is a cocoa-based cleanser, traditionally handmade using natural ingredients from West Africa along with our California Extra Virgin Olive Oil. This natural soap pre-dates lye-based soaps and is known for its science-based curative qualities.

*Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Rich emollient high in oleic acid, very beneficial to the skin. Used in skin care for thousands of years because of its softening and soothing properties.

Cocoa

Cocoa pod ash softens and firms the skin. Its properties fight against free radicals, repair damaged skin, and renew skin cells.

*Shea Butter

The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for the skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties.
